Lafayette Wiring Products has in-house engineering resources that allow us to modify or design new wire shelving, carts or container products that meet your exact specifications.
Applying more than 30 years in design expertise, our engineers develop a solution for shelving, containers or carts that meet your application requirements.
These include the size, shape and weight of your materials, the space limitations in your work cells and the process flow of your operation—from receiving, to storage and staging within your plant, and back out to shipping.
Our Capabilities Include:
- Develop product prints or use customer supplied prints.
- Extensive tool room inventory and experience in tooling design.
- Create dedicated tooling for each Part Number.
- Design steel and copper fixtures and dies with no movable or adjustable pieces.
- Production tooling is used for first run sample.
- Tooling is periodically reviewed and calibrated to original print.
- Test shelves, containers for load and deflection as specified.
- Standard lead time for shelving from Print to Sample is four weeks.
